Free online resource to support enterprise education and mini enterprise activities
We are delighted to announce that we have launched the my-bizidea website, www.my-bizidea.com , which is absolutely free of charge to use.
Anyone can use my-bizidea, but it is primarily designed to support enterprise education in schools and colleges through business studies and mini enterprise activities, and help in the development of enterprise skills, such as understanding business and financial capability.
Aaron, 14, sells car on work experience
He may still be three years away from being allowed to drive a car of his own but 14-year-old Aaron Mills showed he has a big future as a salesman after selling a BMW on his first day of work experience in a used car showroom. Aaron’s success in getting the £2,295 asking price for the car has now landed him a Saturday job at the Lings Honda dealership, in Lowestoft.
Helping young people is good for business
Northend Printers in Sheffield are backing the new 14-19 Diplomas. They are providing opportunities for Sheffield students to gain valuable knowledge and experience for this national initiative that aims to combine both practical and theoretical learning in schools and business.
